John Summerbee has constructed a number of bespoke detached houses throughout the Cotswolds. Summerbee's have played a major role in the construction of entire housing estates throughout Gloucestershire since 1972. Luke Summerbee; his son, has progressed under his father’s training and guidance to take Summerbee Builders from a small maintenance company into one of Gloucestershire’s longest running building firms. Football
Mike Summerbee born 1942, and schooled in Naunton Park Cheltenham in his league debut playing for Swindon Town in 1959 at the age of 16 as a right wing player , he famously scored 38 goals for. He was said to be one of the most influential players in the Manchester City side which won four trophies in three seasons from 1968-70. Something of a practical joker,his team mates nicknamed him "Buzzer". Mike played for England over a period of 5 years encompassing the 1970's world cup.

Off the pitch, Mike has been involved with a number a business ventures; at one stage Mike co-owned a menswear business with George Best. He also starred in the cult film Escape to Victory alongside Sylvester Stallone, Michael Caine and Pelé. Best man to George Best and vice versa. Mike's son Nicky Summerbee followed in his father footsteps playing for Swindon Town and Manchester City and throughout the 2000's.

Hairdressing
Leah Barr, Summerbee was born in Cheltenham and has grown her own business in hairdressing/styling throughout Gloucestershire, Summerbee's Hair is now one of Stroud’s longest established independent hair salons.
